What is corporate housing?


There are many definitions to be found online, but we think the best comes from our trade organization, Corporate Housing Provider's Association (CHPA): "Corporate Housing is defined as a furnished apartment, condominium or house made available for rent or let on a temporary basis, primarily for 30 days or more."

 

While Corporate Housing Inc. has certainly worked with and welcomes the travel industry, we have provided temporary housing solutions for over 2 decades to a wide variety of clientele.

 

Note that the CHPA definition does not limit these services to any one sector and, as members of the Corporate Housing Provider's Association, neither do we.

 The CHPA version explains Corporate Housing by describing what is typically included:

 

Furniture, full kitchen, private bath, linens, housewares, electronics, and utilities.

 

CHPA also points out that Corporate Housing is "more cost-effective for companies for long-term housing needs." We agree, but we also provide short term housing. We define short-term as a minimum of 30 days.
